Hi All.

Could someone help me out to unlock the Bios for the notebook Asus x52je

There is one thing you can try, download AMIBCP from this post:

Open your bios file with AMIBCP.

Change the "access/use" to "user" for any options you want to unhide.
Then save and flash.

This may work, or it may not. Make sure you can recover from a bad bios.

Another option is to change the "optimal" value. But dont change the "failsafe".

Unfortunately i can't download from there cause all links are from megaupload..

Anyway i been try to open the bios file with AMIBCP but i got an error message which says "cannot open the file".

it could be bossible because is an EFI file?



You need the latest amibcp, version 4.53.
I will upload it for you when I get home and back on my notebook later on today.
