I don't think you can Disable the intel GPU and continue having signal on your LCD, those laptops with switchable graphics seems to use always iGPU port to communicate with the LCD and if you disable it you get black screen.

is there a way to make the AMD GPU the default one not the intel ?
Unlocking the BIOS will provide you with the option to choose which GPU is default. But I think using this option bricks your computer.
I wanted to do the exact same thing as you, so I could use ATI Radeon GPU on my hackintosh. But as soon as I applied that setting, I got bricked laptop.
If my laptop can be recovered, I will not touch that setting again.
so its a real scam to be sold such a chip-set !
It is! Switchable graphics is just annoying. I still haven't managed to unbrick my laptop. I am considering taking it to the HP service center where they will likely replace the entire motherboard and charge me some ridiculous price.
