I hope I have understood the purpose of this subsection correctly!

I have the aforementioned motherboard (see title). Unfortunately Gigabyte mobos are notorious for not playing nice with RAID controllers - something I didn't know prior to purchasing. Sad

The error I get when I have the RAID card in is:

"No physical memory is available at the location required for the Windows Boot Manager. The system can not continue."

The card itself works fine in other motherboards I have - there is certainly no broken hardware. I have tried every conceivable BIOS options/settings, but to no avail! Sad

Is there something someone can do here to help? Smile

From the little bit of Reseach I did the problem is with the RAID Card and many different MB's don't work with them.
You should contact LSi or IBM and see if they have a solution (aka probably a New RAID Card BIOS).
