Please remove the whitelist from my BIOS! My T420 is still access with Gobi 2000 but cannot connect with Mobile Broadband. Sometimes get 1802 error that I have to turn off & Turn on to log on windows

Many thanks,
White list removed (i think Smile ) Test it and tell me. Read my signature to find your file Wink
Could you tell the way to flash modded bios. When I run WINUPTP, the display message said:
"BIOS image file is same as BIOS ROM
An update is not necessary at this time."
Many Thanks.

I have flashed modded bios successful with WINUPTP.EXE with the -s option.
But still 1802 error code and one more error appear:
Nomarlly:When I start my machine, the Thinkpad LCD welcome screen display once time to start windows
With modded bios: The Thinkpad LCD welcome screen display twice time to start window
Now I have flashed the original bios and wait for You fix this.
PS: I flashed modded bios when Gobi 2000 is still into T420. Is this ok? or I have to removed Gobi 2000 before flash bios.
Sory for my bad English
Thank You so much
Shouldn't matter when you flash the bios, but if the laptop boots sometime with original bios and the card inserted it's very strange.
My Gobi 2000 card is came from T410s. I have used with W500, T400 X301 (w/ Whitelist remove cheched).
Sometimes get 1802 error when I insert gobi 2000 into T420. about get 2 times 1802 error when 5 times turn on my machine.
Yesterday, when I flash modded bios from you. It still get 1802 error (sometime) and one more error above.
The issue that If it still 1802 error then I cannot switch on the WWAN radio to connect mobile broadband.
I wait for the Fixed - modded bios.
Regards,

Uploaded new mod from scratch. Test it and tell me, find Fixed file in same folder as older mod.
I need feedback on this one!!! Is next marked for deletion!!!
I'm so sory for my late feedback.
With your fix bios. No more 1802 error in my T420.
I set up Gobi2000 with my T420, install driver. Everything is ok.
But I cannot connect Mobile Broadband to use 3G Internet with Gobi2000.
The error is "cannot switch WWAN radio on, please active your SIM card".
The same problem with X220 when I flash modded bios for X220 from 100% working folder in your signature.
I think WWAN Gobi2000 cannot use with T420/X220. Now I have to use Gobi 2000 with X201 and work well.
Thank you so much.
Regard,
Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,

predominantly gentlemen i assume Wink

As obvious topic I would really appreciate if i would be able to change a whitelisted card of my Thinkpad T420.
Because i have trouble with my wlan card using it in osx86 i asked myself if it would be possible to just replace it with a really cheap one which uses also a supported Broadcom Chip.
I already read about a successful replace with a Dell 1397.
The alternative would be to rewrite a supported Linux driver but this seems to be utopia due to the amount of work you have to spend with that.
So that's why I'm here.

I have to admit that i'm really a rookie concerning bios mods. (that's why I'm a little bit afraid of the possible consequences due to rookie faults ^^).
As a result i decided for myself that it would be better to simply ask some skilled persons.

If i overread a thread which contributes a working mod I'm sry (!) but i think thats not the case.

What do I want from you as i didn't have technical data in my post?
In fact i don't know what's the best to start with...
Update my bios to the newest Version and then get to know that it would have been better to stay on my older one?
Hm i would first wait if someone of you would even do that before i update something Wink
If there is one perhaps he could tell me about what he needs in detail to mod that.
If there is none i will try it for myself of course but that would be the worst-case at the moment.

Best regards
