Bios Mods -The Best BIOS Update and Modification Source

Hello,
I would like to be able to boot from the SDHC card slot on my Acer Aspire One D255E. Acer does not provide a bios that supports this. I also am locked out of the bios by a password (received the netbook second hand). I am hoping flashing the bios will remove the password. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Hmm, don't think this is an AMI bios.

Anyway try removing the CMOS battery to get that password off.

I don't think it is possible to reset this bios by pulling the battery or switching jumpers.... I think I may have to try finding software to brute force it.

I was under the impression it was an AMI due to forum posts I have read about the system. I guess I will reset the bios to see exactly what it is before I pursue this any further. Thank you for the quick response.
