Bios Mods -The Best BIOS Update and Modification Source

I am trying to enable the AHCI SATA controller. In the 'integrated Peripherals' tab of the BIOS menu there is the option for the SATA controller. There are only two option: IDE and RAID. From what I have read my chipset supports AHCI. My guess is that Dell has locked this option. I would like this feature unlocked if it exist. I am very appreciative of anyone's help and advice.
