Bios Mods - The Best BIOS Update and Modification Source

I'm aware that camiloml has already made a WLAN whitelist removal mod to the latest LE1700 BIOS (AB18), but I'd need one with the WWAN whitelist removed as well.

I've bought an LE1700, it should arrive soon, and I want to replace the built-in EV-DO WWAN card with a GSM HSDPA one (it has GPS built-in as well), but as I read, most of the cards are restricted. I do not know the VID/PID of the stock card (sadly), and I've never made BIOS mods before, nor I want to brick this tablet (AFAIK it has no way to recover, even though it's Phoenix BIOS), so I would feel a lot more comfortable if someone with experience in it could help me out.

Apparently this AB18 BIOS update is required for Windows 7 to work.
