Please use winflash to make a backup of your bios and attach the file because the link you gave me is impossible to extract a bios from.

Phoenix Bioses can be modded now... Can you provide that BIOS backup again? Link is dead...

Phoenix Bioses can be modded now... Can you provide that BIOS backup again? Link is dead...

here is the rom file, the original from acer site, if you recomand me a program that makes backup from my bios i make it ! only to work in win7 32 bit , because i have't have usb stick or bootable cd.....tnx a lot!

I has unlocked this BIOS. This is modified BIOS image for Aspire 5930. It based on BIOS v1.23. Use at your own risk!. If you use this BIOS image, please take pictures some of the unlocked options & post it here. What changes in this image:-
1) SLIC 2.1
2) Intel SpeedStep menu
