Hi. I'm on the same bios version as you. I have the HP Pavilion DV6 6B51ea (dual core).
This previous version of the bios (sp54846.exe) should be good for you. As the new version (sp57474.exe) corrects a few problems when some of the arrow keys are pressed inadvertently; together !!!! big deal.

Now I have BIOS F.19 (sp57474) and the BIOS by camiloml (sp54846) write me - installed BIOS F.19 can't be downgrade.
same probleme to downgrade...someone know what to do?
How to Downgrade.
As part of the InsydeFlash, you should have a file called flash.ini
This is the configuration file for the flash program.
If you open this up with say .... notepad. Scrolling down you will find a section headed [Bios_Version_Check]
on the next line it should start Flag=
Change that to Flag=0
Save the changes.
this will tell the program not to ignore the version checking, thus allowing you to flash backwards versions.
Thanks, but i allready did it, and nothing change, it say "block..something...can't be downgrade"
So i downgrade to 54846.exe by the recovery tools, but the original bios...
Don't know why it's recognize as F12 and this bios on my laptop has to be F02, so i can't flash the modded F02 54846.exe in windows...again insydeflash say me he can't downgrade block...
Maybe just post a 54846.exe rerscue bios who's is F02...or older...or newer modded.
There seems to be an extra level of checking in these bios. I was initially getting an pop-up stating that the version I was trying to install was older. After changing the setting in the platform.ini it gets past that, but then throws an error stating that the boot block does not support downgrade of bios.
Not to bring back an older thread, but I would also like to know how to flash an older bios. Changed the value in the ini file and it was still blocked,
any help?
I tried to flash old Bios by pressing Windows + B and Power when HP notebook started (HDD and USB drive "HP_TOOLS" and older BIOS in "\Hewlett-Packard\BIOS\current" and "\Hewlett-Packard\BIOS\previous" folders available), but I saw repeating twice blink button CAPS LOCK and black screen only after blinking USB drive LED (3-5 sec)... I tried to use my older bios on HDD HP_TOOLS and recovery BIOS sp54846 by camiloml, but without result…
