Winbook TW801 Hidden Menu unlock?

I dont accept any donations.

You can try to install the mod again. Archive by the previous link was updated. Another set of checks was found is SctWinFlash programs, but I patched those so the process now skips ALL errors. Even on an incompatible device, can be reached a stage with a 10 seconds delay before rebooting, but the flashing naturally does not occur, because the driver only works on devices powered by Phoenix BIOS. Consider this as my last try to patch the programs. In case of failure, you can resort to using Intel Flash Prog. Tool.

This time it seems to read the BIOS and then claim it succeeded and reboots, though I didnt see it flash anything, I am not seeing any changes to the BIOS menu. Were any hidden options intended to be exposed?

I also tried WinFlash32 (limited to 32bit for now) and it also seems to stop after reading the current BIOS, but no longer gives the rollback error.

If you didn't see it, then it didn't happen. This process should be quite long.
I can offer you to give a try to BACKUP_Tools. Let's see what error this program will give. 368 or 280 codes will mean an instant fail.

I'm afraid there will be no 64-bit support, cos for this you will need to re-build the entire BIOS from source files.
But the modded BIOS can provide the control of CSM boot support, or rather Legacy Boot Mode - as this setting is called in the BIOS.

Here you go: whoareyou.zip. This is a DOS system image with BIOS flasher program. We're gonna use DOS because it has vulnerabilities needed. And ofcourse DOS requires CSM support. It can be temporary enabled with the UEFI shell and this command: "setup_var_cv System 0x02 0x01 0x01".

Okay, i'm attempting this now and once into UEFI shell I try that command and get " 'setup_var_cv' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program, or batch file."

Seems thats the 64-bit efi file, not ia32, so unless it would be a breeze for you to do really quick, it seems i'll have to learn how to compile grub, which i'm already struggling with but I think thats bc im using WSL2 on ARM64.

Tried compiling on the WinBook under x86 ubuntu, getting this issue:
https://pastebin.com/MHva2UsM

will post on github issues section too.
