Hello,
i have a Y700-15ISK.
Can you unlock my BIOS?
I don't have a CH341A, I have a TL866 II and would desolder the EEPROM to read it
and I have new and empty EEPROMs to write on, so I won't touch the original chip.
I think, it should be the same result.

Dear Members,

I'm very sorry as I'm a newbie in bios flashing. I landed on this forum because I bricked my Ideapad 700 15-isk while doing a Windows update. Yah seems weird... All I get since then is an empty screen.

I already tried the USB recovery trick but with no success. I would like to try to flash the bios with the SPI programmer that is mentioned, however I'm not sure which chip is the right one on the motherboard. How could I find this ?

Please let me know where would be the best place for this question as this particular topic is far more advanced.

Many thanks for your help
