I've searched everywhere on the web for the original unlocked asus bios or a way to bypass it because i wanna overclock my processor to 4gh. None of the programs like CPUFSB or Clock-GEN do not work. Could one of you guys possibly make a modded bios for my computer? I ask this for this computer because i don't actually have the money to by a e-atx motherboard for my computer case and i would like to have the ability to brag to my friends about my overclocked hp, which none of them can figure out how to do

Hi,

After some had Problems during flashing the BIOS, I decided to make a Quick (short) Tutorial. Please correct me if I explain wrong.

This Tutorial is a short Version of HP ProLiant N40L MicroServer Build and BIOS Modification Revisited

Check if you have the Bios ID 041 during booting with the F10 key - Figure 1

Download the File Systems ROMPaq Firmware Upgrade for HP ProLiant MicroServer (Alternate: Diehard’s System Rompaq Firmware)

The downloaded File from HP is called SP54344.exe and from DieHard SP52016.exe. Both should do the same as told by Joe Miner

Go to this Folder and open the Folder "USB Key"(C:\SWSetup\SP54344\USB Key).

Hi guys.
Recently I opened the ROM file for my AMI BIOS upgrade (I have got an HP ProLiant Microserver with AMD RS785E chipset) via AMIBCP and found out that there is an option "Able to change freq" which is set to "hidden". There are also more hidden features. I would like to know if it is as simple as enabling that option and flashing BIOS with that modded ROM file, or are there any things which should I know first? Because I have got very limited options in BIOS now. The best would if any of you could pre-patch it for me (I attached the ROM file below) thanks
