My computer cannot boot from frash memory(pendrive), I'm almost sure the reason is my old Phoenix AwardBIOS v6.00.

Probably the latest version is "14" ("1.4"?). It is reported version 12 is the best, but all would be accepted :-)

I would like to replace the old SATA controller firmware included in the motherboard bios with the new SATA controller firmware.

Note: I have tried using CBROM to release the old SATA controller .bin and include the new one, but my motherboard will act as if there was no SATA firmware when CBROM shows it is present.
I have also tried AWARD editor v1.00 and the Motherboard bios image gets "corrupted", award editor claims.
I used Modbin6, but doesn't seem to let me do anything useful.

Any advice?
