If someone was to mod my bios would those features be enabled? Or do they even exist within the board?

Because That's my only purpose really- is to overclock my old athlon 3800+ a bit, but not within software as I have been doing. But would it be possible to mod those bios?

(If they're already unlocked within this forum, please point me to the thread, as I have searched but have found nothing, I apologize if a thread of this nature already exists. Thanks to all.)

I downloaded the latest bios last year directly from my computer's support site. I have been reading information on the subject of overclocking, as well thinking I would be able to. I ran clockgen but needed the pll number and not to my surprise, I didn't find any with this FIC motherboard. Anyway I found one similar in this site, but the link is down. I am trying to try Oc'ing this computer since I heard that AMD semprons from the early 2000's were easy to overclock with stock fans, I recently added another fan and my cpu is stable at 40, basically I am trying to get the most out of this computer since it can handle it and I don't want to invest in any hardware on an older pc.

Hi there!

I recently slapped a AMD X4 640 CPU on my older Gigabyte GA-MA69GM-S2H motherboard. Unfortunately I had to update my BIOS to support that cpu, so I lost my older modded BIOS with voltage control.

That's what I'd like to have back, for undervolting the cpu and running it at cooler temps. The latest BIOS version is F7E and can be downloaded via this link:

ftp://download.gigabyte.ru/bios/mb_bios_...2h_f7e.exe

The older modified bios seems to have been created from a GA-MA69G-S3H bios, the bigger ATX brother of my mobo (GA-MA69GM-S2H is microATX), which has voltage control. Thought I'd include that piece of information.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Have a good new year's celebration everyone!

I would like to replace the old SATA controller firmware included in the motherboard bios with the new SATA controller firmware.

Note: I have tried using CBROM to release the old SATA controller .bin and include the new one, but my motherboard will act as if there was no SATA firmware when CBROM shows it is present.
I have also tried AWARD editor v1.00 and the Motherboard bios image gets "corrupted", award editor claims.
I used Modbin6, but doesn't seem to let me do anything useful.
Any advice?
