Requests for modding the BIOS of HP's computers——despite being impossible——continue to come in, but it seems that many members have grown tired of them, as responses have become increasingly scarce.

To address this, I propose placing a banner at the top of this site stating: "Recent BIOS versions of HP's machines feature extremely strong encryption, and no one has successfully decrypted them into readable files. Therefore, submitting mod requests is futile and meaningless."

This should significantly reduce the number of such requests.]]>

I was trying to find a solution how to fix this problem. I found few posts mentioning something about Unchecking "Show the MyCode formatting options on the posting pages." but I want the styles to be visisble so I only came up with this solution:

Looks like there is a broken .css style file or I'm not sure.

I understand that they most likely Laser cut blow fuses to disable cores / CU but I wonder if is possibility they forget about something maybe SMT?

I simply wonder if everyone assume AMD disabled all functions on hardware level, and we do not have any attempts to test it ?]]>

Been following this forum for a while as a reader, I guess software geeks might help me about this;
got a LG Xboom PK5 portable bluetooth speaker which is a sample unit (says  "Not for sales" on the box and also on speaker) and because of this  basic functions like working on battery, volume adjustment and some special features are software blocked, unit runs at full volume at all times and can only work with charger, even when battery is full.
What I wanna say is if I share the firmware dump here can someone fix these issues, I reflash this firmware back to my speaker so I can use it like any normal unit sold in stores ?
Let me know if that's possible please

I switched from mobile to desktop login and it magically started working with the temporary password — however for the love of bananas I cannot find a user control panel where I can update my information/password!
