hi
it is possible to make any modding to add cpu support lines to any existing bios of this type of machine.
Im thinking to get a Athlon X2 7850 BE on this mobo but officialy not supported.

Any clue?
This bios downloaded directly form the Giga-byte.com.(it needed to repack the files for uploads)

Thank You
P.S.: i attached one bios which is the closest one by chipset from asrock and it support the latest cpu-s from amd.
Yes, I will add the latest AGESA ROM to give you the support you want, but I need time to proccess this request. Thanks for your understanding, Ill get it done ASAP.

Thanks,

Thank You your effort, still idiot question, can someone hack me an nf3 gart driver for windows 7
it can be without whql(i mean dont bother with it i install under test mode)
just make it suitable for ati gpu. I know it works just with nvidia gpu.

Thank You
I was kind of unclear of your question?

TheWiz
I guess he means that the Windows 7 GART drivers for nForce 3 don't allow hardware acceleration on cards, having chips different from nVidia's own. Unfortunately, this problem is unfixable at the moment.

You see, the nVidiots don't support such 'old' hardware - just like when they bought ULi (and 3Dfx, come to think about it) - support from them ceased immediately...

Hey
sorry to bother you but i still not get answere from you in this months.
Im not sure if i posted or not the asrock bios aswell for this but maybe i can do now.
I found to possible bioses close to what i proposed first and i want a cpu microcode update for phenoms.
http://www.asrock.com/mb/cpu.asp?Model=ALiveDual-eSATA2&s=AM2
http://www.asrock.com/mb/cpu.asp?Model=AM2NF3-VSTA&s=AM2
the AM2NF3 motherboard looks closer one to the gigabyte ones.(GA-MF3)
I added the two bios image here and i wait for your reply.(no other things need to changed just this cpu microcode update).

Thank You
Wow, I feel like a complete idiot, I forgot all about this thread. My sincere apologies. I am working on this and will assure you an answer (hopefully a good one) sometime during this week.

Thanks for sticking with us, it was a complete miscommunication on my behalf.

TheWiz
Ok, i wait for your answer.

Thank you and i hope a succesfull bios upgrade.
Hey h3llr3is3r,

I looked everything over again and have it a road block. The BIOS your gigabyte board uses is an Award, and it does not include the MEMINIT which alows us to update support (because MEMINIT can not be integrated if its not already there)

I looked at the ones from AsRock, which is the only company that has such old boards running these amazing proccessors. The difference here is that they are running AMI platform bioses, and I cannot upgrade your bios with the platforms being completly different.

Also, the 7850 X2 is not listed as supported because it is not a Brisbane, but a Kuma. If I updated your AGESA code, I don't think it would be enough because your BIOS lacks meminit.

If we could find an NF3 board with an award bios, we may have a shot.

Thanks,
TheWiz
Hey,
this sounds fk sad for me...
we not have enough resources for a serious update but if this fails then we should...
Thanks again and i lookin forward for a nf3 award bios with support...

regards for your team and for your efforts
H3llr3is3r
Bad idea,
if we find a nf4 or nf5 like award bios woth cpu support is it possible to to this microcode upgrade?

Thanks
