Hey Falseclock, New user here
I needed to
install Windows XP on my
HP Pavilion G6-2005AX laptop
and was getting a BSOD.
Read around and found out that i had to change my SATA config; But my BIOS is locked
BIOS INFO :- InsydeH20
BIOS Version:-
F.05 REV 3.7
Hence I need the unlocked BIOS so that i can change it
Also i have no idea what to change it to(IDE or AHCI) some advice on that as well
Thank you for your time

being an HP you may need to change hidden bios stuff too, but there are a couple of things you must do anyway: integrate drivers into the XP setup image (the iso file) expecially the sata and chipset ones (that may let you to keep the ahci on); probably disabling secureboot and putting it in CSM legacy mode would help too, and these option are probably already available on the stock HP bios.
