If anyone could remove the WLAN/WWAN whitelist from the E330 BIOS/UEFI, it would be greatly appreciated!

Hello,

This link is down, its says file is deleted.

I was hoping to source a Lenovo E320 BIOS mod to remove whitelist and also allow me to use 8gb of RAM (it only recognises 4gb). The chipset can handle up to 16gb.

Many thanks

Dear all,

I would like to replace the default Wi-Fi card shipped with my Lenovo Edge E300 (exact model is "3354-CTO") in order to have 802.11ac support.
The new Wi-Fi card will be the Intel AC 7260.
The PC is running Windows 10 in 64-bits.

The current UEFI BIOS installed is H3ET75WW (version 1.12) and it seems to include another BIOS H3EC35WW for the ECP (version 1.18).
The official link for downloading the BIOS is: https://download.lenovo.com/ibmdl/pub/pc...uj75us.exe
Here is the link for downloading the backup done with "BACKUP_Tools14a.exe": https://www.sendspace.com/file/tdlw7i

The Intel FTP tool is detecting 2 flash devices (one of 4MB and one of 8MB), but only the 4MB flash device was backuped, I don't if this is normal?

Thank you for anuone who can help,
Sebastien

Try to flash before form Windows using this procedure then if error read instructions . . .
Unpack the Bios Mod and copy the "modified" folder into C: HD root place !
Then open Command Promt with Admin Rights (CLI window C:\),
after this execute these comands from CLI window :

cd \

cd modified

fptw -f bios.bin -bios

(or fptw64 for Windows x64)
Thank you, I'll test it!

Do you know where I can find the fptw.exe and fptw64.exe tools?
Tested and working perfectling with the new Wi-Fi card, thank you!
Donation done.
