I just flashed my bios with the one you provided and installed my new wireless card. Advanced menu in the bios and everything works great.
Hello,
I too need to remove the whitelist in my G500. I can't see to locate the bios backup tool anywhere. Can you please post a link and I will back it up.
Thanks.
I have Lenovo G500s notebook (model 20245), BIOS version 7BCN36WW(v2.02) and Intel Centrino Wireless-N 135 card. This card works very bad, it's notorious break Wi-Fi connection.
Several times service repairs is not succesfull. They say "all OK, hardware is free for defects"
I buy other wireless card, Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6205. But after install i get the BIOS message "Unauthorized network card is plugged in (...)".
I have unlock this for install other wireless cards or get a white list of supported (not denied) cards.

Please help. Sorry 4 my english.
Thanks, it's works.
But i get message before flashing:
PDR Region does not exist.
GBE Region does not exist.
Error 28: Protected Range Registers are currently set by BIOS, preventing
access.
Please contact the target system BIOS vendor for an option to disable Protect Range Registers.
What's up?
BTW if i want restore original BIOS (for possible complaint), which program to restore?
Not useful as Eeprom is Write Protect !
To restore Original Bios just use Original Bios and update or can use
your Bios Backup present into result file !
something like this x32_bios-region_8.1.51.1476.bin then rename as bios.bin
then replace the Bios Mod into USB Stick and use as same !
