Bios Mods -The Best BIOS Update and Modification Source

first thanx for all this usefull information on this forum ;-)

After reading this post above, I was thinking about how to boot from dos.

It's an iso with all the tools needed, this way I have been able to burn a bootable cd from the "Dell Bios Reset.iso" file. And booting from the cd allow to do all the process ;-)

1.boot to dos with the CD burn from the "Dell Bios Reset.iso" file.
2.type y to confirm change service tag
3.type new service tag (just use your original one)
4.type again to confirm new service tag
6.run asset PASS:12/31 or 12/34
-> for me I just had to write the command : run asset PASS:12/31
7.reboot to check

thanks for providing this mod.

1 does this bios let you set fan settings?
2 is it compatable with D630 ATG?
3 what can this bios do, other than slic 2.1 update
4 is a moded A19 any place to download?

every time i start my D630, D630 ATG,D620 i have to push fn + Shift and then 15324 and then fn +r , so i can disable BIOS thermal controls and set PWM to FF
