I updated my x58m with the latest microcode, the processor works but the uncore multiplier is locked, grayed out.
Is there any fix?

So according to
this thread, i managed to fix the uncore bug regarding the Xeon X5650. But i still have a problem: Regardless of the other settings, if i try to set the baseclock to 180 or above, the system won't even post. the board loops a few debug codes on the internal display and then goes into overclock recovery.
Does anyone know why that is? Clock 179 runs like a charme.

Is it possible to incorporate both the above updated cpuid 06c2 microcode and the new HP patched microcode into the Foxconn P10 BIOS?
I actually have the Flaming Blade model (non GTI) but I had earlier successfully flashed GTI bios2.rar onto my set. If you can patch the actual Flaming Blade model (non GTI) P10 BIOS, that would be an even bigger bonus. Pls see file attachment for the original non GTI P10BIOS.
