it appears the modded bios file for the X70-A is gone/deleted any chance of recovering it?
also any news on if a programmer is the only way?
sorry but finding much on these qosmios is quite a challenge... even their manufacturer Toshiba is not of much help on them...
just to find them on the support seciton is a bear!

Vendor: Toshiba
Modelname: Qosmio X70-A-13E
Screenshot:
Link to current BIOS:
http://support1.toshiba-tro.de/tedd-file...102104.zip
I have extracted the BIOS.fd from the .exe-file myself.
Additionally I extracted the BIOS.rom from the BIOS.fd file too with a tool from another forum.
I am not sure if I did everything right.
But I uploaded my extracted files too, if that is more convenient:
URL REMOVED
^ Note that this URL does NOT point towards a modded BIOS! ^
Little bit of a back story:
I'm currently working on a MXM to PCI-E Adapter. A little more BIOS options could really help down the road.
I'd really appreciate if someone could unlock my BIOS!
