(It will not work as Error 280) :

While that avoids the endless loop preventing boot, the message about "unauthorized..." will still show.

I think I'll use my patch instead... after I obtain a hw programmer, of course. I'd like to explore the possibility of unlocking LPC/SMI via patched DSDT first though...

Hey guys, OP here. I followed this thread as much as I can understand Undecided but I still have a question. Is using a hw programmer the only way to remove the whitelist or is it just a necessary step toward making a flashed bios that everybody can use?

So far, only way to flash a modified BIOS is with hardware programmer.

ou can look You got Error 280 = Eeprom Write Protect = Not Moddable !!!
I am sorry only way is an SPI External Programmer !
