Hi friend,
I have a stupid question still to the Sleep Mode. 
If I  close the lid the Laptop goes in sleep mode. No Problem. 
If I reopen the lid he do nothing. The laptop remains black. Then I must press the power button to wake up and Windows says me: Windows is continued. Then there comes the user button and the laptop starts. Is thir the right Sleep Mode?? I think no???
For me this looks as I would begin Windows normally, and not in sleep mode. Or i wrong???

I also downgraded by G70-70 BIOS to B6CN13WW.exe, hopefully this time can remove the whitelist restriction. Please find the rom file from universal backup tool below:

I have flashed the bios last night with the one BD master sent me last June and this success, now I can see all the hidden option in BIOS and tonight I will install the intel 7260 AC wifi+BT card, hope this will work

In my case close the lid to make this sleep won't work, this just wake up instantly , so I use the windows 7 shutdown option to make this sleep, then wake this up with press any key, then proceed the bios flash result in success.

Below result:
