Hello everyone,

I would like to ask for support of a new Haswell E CPU for the Asus X99 Deluxe U3.1 Mainboard.
-The latest BIOS: http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/LGA2...S-3101.zip.
-Compatible: MSI Gaming 9 AC, BIOS 1.B:http://download.msi.com/bos_exe/7882v28.zip.
-Error: The system does not boot, no picture on screen. Mainboard code: B6 "check NVram".
-My CPU: Intel Xeon 2690 v4 Engineering sample, the non ES versions spec code: SR2N2
I cannot make a screenshot of aida64 as nothing boots, I hope the above suffices.

Thank you very much for your support
What is S-spec of your ES CPU?
Can you boot with other CPU make the screenshot of third (Mainboard) tab of CPU-Z.
P.S. Have you MSI Gaming 9 AC for checking compatibility?

I dont have the S Spec number since it is an engineering sample CPU, but it should be the same as the standard xeon ie. SR12X or SR2N2 (link).
Unfortunately, I cannot make a screenshot of CPU-Z since nothing boots and my current CPU is not socket or chipset compatible. However, I may ask the seller if they can provide it. What exactly do you need ? For now, I can give you this
As for the MSI, the seller tested it, so I know it supports the CPU.
Make a foto of your CPU.
Give me the link to seller's page with CPU compatibility information.

Did you read this?
Quote:The following is a list of products that we have tested to be incompatible:
Motherboards:
Asus X99 series (all models): stalk at Q-Code 19 after reboot; support V4 (pre-)QS or production processors only
P.S. S-spec is QH2M. It isn't Haswell E, but Broadwell E.

Yes, I did. I just got the board very cheap and the seller only updated the information about the Asus X99 series after I had purchased it. However, as mentioned above, in my case the code is B6 not 19.
Can you make a compatible BIOS ? If so, your next lunch is on me Wink
No, it's impossible.

Ah, shame, but thanks for your time anyway.
Don't buy ES CPU with A0 stepping. Never!
