Recovery mode don't want to write image, tried two differen usb drives.
Will flash bios soon via programmator B-)
Flashed bios with ch341a (IIRC).
All seems to be fine

I'm new to this forum so i'm sorry if a thread like this already exists. I wonder if someone has unlocked the hidden menu for the Aspire V5-552g. Im a noobie when it comes to bios
. I need the hidden menu because I've updated my RAM from 6 GB to 12 GB but my computer only uses 6GB even if programs like CPU-Z or Speccy says that I have 12 GB. Even the system info says that I have 12 GB RAM. I've asked some people and they told me that I have to change the RAM speed in bios but there are no such option. They told me that this site could help me. I would really appreciate if someone could help me

Most laptop system boards don't let change voltages, frequences and timings so overclocking will be failed.
But, you can change values of timings and frequency of RAM modules by special utilities such as Thaiphoon Burner or SPDTool.
Remember, you do it at own risk and can get unconditional module RAM if values will be uncorrect.
It's better than you get bricked laptop if Ram values changed wrong in BIOS Setup.

I have Acer Aspire V5-552PG-X809. And i have been trying to unlock the advance page on bios. The problem is that. I am trying to disable the Intergrated GPU on the A10 processor. I have tried using the efi repair mode with no luck it didnt work. I have InsydeH20 Bios 2.07 with revision 3.7
I am looking for a way to use the Discrete GPU and not the dual GPU.
