For BIOS chip replacement you need full dump of proper 8MB BIOS chip, not only 3MB BIOS region.
The one i have it already flashed with Intel me 8.x.x.x and a bios. But is there more to it?
Show it.
The chip or what? Its a replacement i got for my other motherboard, which i have in excess, so i have yet to flash the correct bios on it
I need to see the dump of BIOS chip with "already flashed with Intel me 8.x.x.x and a bios".

Right now this is the only thing i can dump from it.

As i dont know how to get the first sectors dumped from afuwin.

the rom is on drive (X79chip.rom)
X79chip.rom is 6 MB BIOS region only. It will not help.
yeah, i figured as much.
But i made progress, as i found out that you can actually use the JSPI1 Header to attach an external bios chip to overrule the onboard one.
This seems to be the case with all MSI and Asus boards!

As i dont have one of these, i will solder together a clone of it.
and maybe, just maybe i can try to flash the bios that i modded, onto it via afudos or afuwin on the MS-7728 itself
Hi

THIS BIOS IS ONLY FOR THE VERSION WITH THE 4069 KB
Winbond 25Q32BV

I edited the E7728MLN.209 bios with the following:

Intel MicroCode updates:
CPUID: 06A9 REV: 1F DATE: 07/02/2018 (DD/MM/YYYY)
CPUID: 06A7 REV: 2D DATE: 07/02/2018 (DD/MM/YYYY)

Intel Management Engine:
8.1.70.1590_1.5MB_PRD_RGN.bin DATE 24/11/2015  (Last 8.1 version)

Set A lot of hidden menus to USER via AMIBCP 4.53.

GPU on pci-e x16 is tested and working, you just have to enable it under:
Main > North Bridge > PCI Express port > Enabled
Main > North Bridge > Detect Non-Compliance Device > Enabled
Advanced > Advanced Chipset Setup > PCI Express Ports Configuration > PCI Express port # > Enabled
(# is the number you want to enable ie. all of them)

My goal was to support a Xeon E3-1225v2
Which might be damaged, so if someone with a 1155 ivy bridge cpu out there, would like to test the posibility for me, i'd be delighted.

About flashing the Bios itself, im not quite certain that you can do it via AFUWIN / AFUDOS.
As i just de-soldered the chip itself and used an SPI programmer (Raspberry pi with flashrom)
And soldered a DIP8 socket to the motherboard.
(This was due to Intel ME being blocked from dumping via software)
Feel free to test if you can in fact flash via AFUWIN

Im currently in the Making of the 8MB Bios.
Which some boards seem to come with, which might enable the support for Ivy Bridge.

DeathBringer i'll upload the RAW bios files, both from the 8MB chip i have from my asrock x79 fatal1ty
 pro
And the bios i extracted from the MS-7728 and cleaned the ME data (For ME replacement)
Your modification of BIOS will not add support for Ivy Bridge core.
x79.bin has 6 MB BIOS region, not 3MB. It's useless.
