This Forum has been of great help, since it gave me some orientation on what to do, although at the moment I have tried everything with no luck...

I would like to use the Intel 7260AC Wifi Adapter instead of the Intel 2230 in my Lenovo ideaPad U510. The BIOS of this model is from Insyde.

The label of the original 2230 card says: WFM 6036DD570247
PCI\ven_8086&dev_0888&subsys_42628086

7260AC card says: WFM 0C8BFD8E186D
Can't find a way to see the VEN/DEV/SUBSYS of the 7260AC Card since it wont let me boot with the card on.

I took a backup of the BIOS from my Lenovo U510 (LENOVO-6FCN30WW(V1.06).

I hope somebody can help with WIFI whitelist removal of a U510 ideapad.
I made a backup with Universal BIOS Backup 2.0 toolkit.

id installed WiFi - PCIVEN_8086&DEV_0888&SUBSYS_42628086&REV_C4

raplaced WiFi Atheros AR5B93

bios version 6FCN29WW(V1.05)

created stick to instructions, copied files to it. boot from flash and nothing happens
