Hi!
Today I received the X3363. I put it on the board and it didn't work out.

BIOS 1.16: I'm taking off my battery. The system starts and asks to keep the settings. I push F1 and then the system does not start - the fans spin at maximum speeds.

I "updated" the bios to version 1.08
After system starts i can save settings.
After restarting, I tried to update the microcodes (u7G_0102.bin). Microcodes have been updated from 1.02 to version 1.02. But after startup, i see a error that the microcodes under this processor are not loaded.
I have a processor X3363 SLBC3 1067A
Here's what the intelmicrocodelist_v04a utility writes:

From the u7G_0102.bin file

Teaching me what the microcodes are.
What to do?
Extract U7F_0123.BIN from this mod and rename it to U7G_0123.BIN.
Update microcodes with this file and native flashbin.exe - https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp51001-5...p51181.exe

Or try to flash other mod by a hardware programmer.
Oh yes!
You are a superhero!!
Thank you very much!!!

With Plat'2.6 everything works perfectlySmile
I changed the file and updated the flashbin from dos.
The system works perfectly!
Can I update the bios to the latest version?

Yes, just flash other mod by a hardware programmer.

Or you need to find any suitable C2D with E0-stepping and CPUID=0x1067A.
Hi!
Two more DC7900s were given to me today. I also have 2 Xeon X3363 processors (SLBC3).
I want to put the X3363 in both DC7900
Both DC7900 have the latest HP BIOS 1.27
I can disassemble the computer and copy the BIOS dump.
Can you once again add X3363 microcodes to the BIOS 1.27 dump?
I tried two Smile

On one PC, I rolled back the BIOS version to the oldest 1.08 and successfully added microcodes. The pc with Xeon started well.

On the second board, I took off the chip, backed up BIOS and stitched the Bios dump with a hardware programmer witch file that you made from version 1.16

But it didn't work - the PC didn't turn on.

Can you add microcodes to the dump version of 1.27 or is it impossible on this board?

Version 1.08 has errors. Not correctly loaded from USB, there are problems with Linux.

Here's a link to both files. https://fex.net/s/b5mtmzy
Can you boot in DOS with Xeon(SLBC3) and BIOS 1.27?
Have you any suitable C2D with E0-stepping and CPUID=0x1067A?
With the X3363 PC start only without a battery.
But no boot at the same time.
I have slb9j
https://www.cpu-world.com/sspec/SL/SLB9J.html
It's 01067Ah and E0
I put this processor, upgraded the BIOS to version 1.27.
Updated the microcodes to 1.23.
Replaced the processor with X3363 and... Nothing.
Install your E8400 and flash original BIOS 1.27
Update microcode by my new mod.
Reboot and make a screenshot of regedit with expanded key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\HARDWARE\DESCRIPTION\System\CentralProcessor\0
