I have a supermicro x10sdv board that stopped posting. And I'm thinking of flashing the bios with my EZP2019 but the file I downloaded from the supermicro website comes with a B22 extension. Do I have to make any changes to the file or can I flash directly?
I have been looking for information on this forum and found this thread (https://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-H...Programmer), so I understand I need a complete dump of my bios but it is not possible because the chip is damaged. In my case, do I need a complete dump of the old bios?

The motherboard is an X10SDV-8C + -LN2F
The bios file from supermicro is already a full bios(16777216 byte) ,file extension name wouldn't affect bios content ,you can changed it to you like ,such as .bin or .rom or even .b1234.

Now you should to do is that backup corrupt bios at first, then try write the supermicro's factory bios via spi programmer.
(Backup currently bios before you write any data to chip is a good habit)
