Hey guys,

nice work with the M17x R1/R2 bios mod. it is possible to crack the M15x bios, too? there is actually no (good) overclocking feature..i think features like M17x R1/R2 would be very nice- what do you think? the M15x has an i7 cpu and ddr3 ram like the M17x R2.

if you have any questions or if you need screenshots from the actual bios (or something else) contact me Wink

you can find the bios here:

Hi Hotzenplotz,

I took a brief look and it seems to have very similar hidden features as the M17x-R2 did. Please take a picture of the Main, Advanced, and Performance/OC menu so I can report my findings.

Thanks again,

Hi Hotzenplotz,

May I know is this M15x R1 or R2?
For the Alienware M15x there is only an 'normal M15x'...you can say R1 but because there are no other M15x models you can left the R1 ;-)

Thank you for the clarification. Tongue I asked because I read there are a couple of website mentioning M15x R2, e.g. this blog. So, the M15x R2 in the blog actually a normal or the same M15x.
No problem.
The blog is wrong. So guys, if you need any other informations or testers contact me- i will search some. (admin of http://alien-forum.net)
