Hi AHMED,
It been long since the last post. Today Lenovo releases the new Bios for Y460P. 3FCN21WW. I'm sure this time round you could do something. (:
Here the link to the file. I'm using Windows 7 64-bit.

Hi AHMED, i've accidentally changed some settings in the bios ( i suppose its the intel XMP side went wrong) and i could not turn on my laptop now. How can i do the recovery?
02-16-2012, 07:18 AM
you don`t need recovery , just need to reset CMOS settings by removing the CMOS battery for 20 minutes , then powering the notebook ( without cmos ) and power off again then put the CMOS battery back .
Thanks for confirming,
Moved to unlocked /mod

Hi AHMED, welcome (: i did as what you've said removed battery..etc..etc, but its still the same. I've tried doing the recovery, i did saw the led of the removable storage(2gb) blink(once) and a loud fan noise when i hold Fn+R while pressing the power button. Will i expect anything from the screen?
Last thing, is there be any difference using the 21(if you were to mod it) then the 17.
Thanks

This works on the Y460P. However, it does not remove the Whitelist. I will open up a thread requesting that.
