im looking for a modded bios with the whitelist thingy removed so i can change my wifi card in my hp g6-1007sa

This bios most probably is RSA signed, it means that after modded if may semibrick your laptop.

Normally this nasty effect is noticeable (when it is, not always is present) after you enter bios setup using the modded bios. So if you want me to mod it, you must agree to take the risk to have to dismantle your laptop to remove cmos battery in case of semibrick.

I can try to mod your bios, but if you are going to use it, ensure you have well configured your bios setup before flashing mod, and after that never more enter the bios setup, at least no before flashing back an original bios. You're warned Wink
thanks for the reply, not getting anywhere with HP customer support, they only seem to give me information i already know.

I will cautiously try the modded bios and hopefully report back.

thanks ;-)

bios loaded fine, no lockups or bricking.

unfortunately still came up with the same 702 error on booting with new bios and new WLAN card Sad
Tell me the PCI ID of the wlan cards. The original and the one you want in.
