Yes, almost that, or directly reflash from recovery pendrive.

I think I may have just bricked my laptop. I cant get it to boot. How do I get it to enter bios recovery mode?

I think the flash I did with the files you sent failed. All I get is fans spinning up, then dying down. And a blinking caps lock light. And a blank screen.
