That was not an expensive repair. you also lucky. I have read a lot of times about frozen systems who cannot be repaired other than bios chip replacement at original dealer.

In the service manual, the AA 5349, 5749 and 5749Z are treated identical. Same pictures and text apply to the all 3.
Onliest main difference is the processor, and because of that the graphics, but the chipset is the same.
