Thanks for posting the A06 version. But the OEM A06 version cann't recognize the sata3 when I used a ssd .I can only get this to halfway recognize the sata 3 after dropping the bios version from A06 to A00.But the A00 cannot support Win7 x64 & Win8. Can A06 modded bios enable sata3 ?

And for a quick explination, I after extracting the Setup module form the rom, I dissassemble it with IDA Pro and see why the tabs are being hidden. As you can see in thei screen shot, the tabs were being skipped becase of a blacklist.

Then I use Universal IFR Extractor to see if there's any additional settings being hidden. You can see here that there's soem options being hidden by the EFI_IFR_SUPPRESS_IF_OP and EFI_IFR_TRUE_OP.

That's it. I go into a lot more detail about reverse engineering and modifying bios in the tutorial on my blog Big Grin

This version of A06 will unlock SATA lll fully?  Is it necessary to update from A00 to A06 as I don't find much description on what Dell included in the new firmware. Also I need to replace Intel Centrino Advanced-6230 wifi adapter for which Linux drivers are not optimized and thus drops network bandwidth to 3x e.g, In Windows 10, throughput is 25 Mbps where as in Linux its 5 to 8 Mpbs if parameter tweaked.
