The only difference between ZioGTS modded bios and mine is SLIC mod.

I don`t include the SLIC mod in mine because If you have your own
bought copy of windows, the SLIC mod is not necessary.

Everything else is 100% the same.
Thanks Sinders for quick update !

@sinders,

Quick question for you. I flashed zio's s11 bios about a month ago in order to get the updated Intel 82567V-2 module, however after the flash my "shutdown button" only restarts the computer now. So, I want to flash back to your last bios release since it was working perfectly. Will your bios cause the Intel gigabit controller to downgrade itself? If so is there a way to prevent it from downgrading?

Thanks again for your time and effort building these bios files.

I also experienced a few minor issues with my latest release, maybe the latest network module causes random shutdown/reboot loops and similar hiccups. Network is working flawlessly though, so I'm not completely convinced that's the root cause.

Yeah I wouldn't know the cause either. And my network is also flawless, gotta love Intel network chips. I guess the only way to know what's causing it would be for sinders to remove the Intel network module from the bios and allow me to test it. Kinda getting annoying to have to keep hitting the button on the front of the PC, although I'm not complaining.

If I flash sinders bios back on do you think the Intel network module will downgrade to 1.4 as well? Is there a Windows app that can read the chips module version by chance? Thanks

By flashing an older bios you will undoubtedly downgrade the network module, as it resides in bios only.

Here is a special treat for you guys still using the Rampage III Extreme board.

Here is my Rampage III Extreme 1601 BIOS mod which includes all of
the previous updated OROMs but with a special modded Intel RSTe
RAID ROM v11.6.0.1702 thanks to CPL0 aka Dufus from the AnandTech
Forums for the Intel ICH10R SATA RAID Controller to enable support
for TRIM when in RAID0.

Me and SkOrPn has tested our Rampage III Extreme board with the special
modded Intel RSTe RAID ROM v11.6.0.1702 included and we can confirm,
when using the TrimCheck Tool v0.5 to check to see if TRIM is now working
or not, we got positive results that it does indeed enable TRIM when in
RAID0 on the Rampage III Extreme board.

You can download the modded 1601 BIOS below.

FYI
sindersMod, the link to your special "sindersMod_1601_2013-10-18" seems to be broken. Do you have another link by chance?
The link still works. I downloaded it right now and extracted the archive without issues.

Perhaps your connection is having difficulty accessing dropbox at the moment.
