Master,
I think i have bricked my lenovo y50 (obviously i am too stupid, i changed somethin in the advanced menu bios, when it reboot keyboard and fan on but the screen remain off)
do you have any idea how can i flashback original bios or flash with new version of bios? If your method can help i will happily do donation for you , thanks very much, ,
Thanks!! Im a bit dubious about doing the flash though, is there a recovery procedure for these types of bioses? i dont want to brick my laptop.
I have acer TravelMate 7750G with Intel core i5-2430M and HD Radeon 6650M graphic card. The thing is, that I need to access advanced settings in BIOS to change my graphic card priority, because Radeon is damaged. I'd like to use integrated INtel HD graphics, but it looks like I cant do it from neither Windows nor Linux.
BIOS I am currently using is: InsydeH20 v. 1.16
BIOS link to official Acer site:

I will also attach the file, in case the link stopped working : [

Sorry for bad quality picture of my bios, I don’t have any good camera so I had to use my phone. (There's "REV. 3.5" in the right top corner, where the light is). As you can *hopefully* see, I cant access Advanced menu tab, as there is only Main tab, where I cant do anything about graphic cards.
I have already tried to contact Acer, but they are like: "Out of warranty? Then we don’t care." so this site is probably my only chance. Thanks for help.

https://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-R...5#pid99725) but it comes out with model name compare error. Guys, make me happy and I can make little more happy as well

Just about to do this and it comes up with model name compare error.
Yeah. model name compare error confirmed, I have tried both files posted in this thread. Please, if anyone can make the bios unlocked, I am willing to donate as well! I hope it won't take that long, as there has apparently been some work done in it,and my damaged graphic card has already problems playing simple video. Its juts so frustrating having disabled integrated card that I can't access.
