hello, just found this thread... i am in the same boat, was this bios mod successful? cannot locate the file in bios repository...
Hey guys was working on the M2N68-LA (Narra2) board to try to get it to be able to support the Phenom X4 9650 and was hoping that you guys could give me a hand. When I put the chip in it just stayed on a black screen. I know that the Phenom X4 9650 is a 95w and the HP page says that this board will support 89w, but I just figured I would try.

I was going to try to modded bios that you guys made for the Nettle2. But from what I can tell the super-io chip is different, even tho the chipset is the same. This does make a difference right?

Then I started reading and was thinking that if I maybe change the agesa it would help. The one in the narra2 is 2.8.11 (I think? 11 08 02 was the number I saw after AMD!GESA). If I do that do I also have to change the CPUCODE.BIN, right? I was going to maybe try to pull the agesa and cpu micro code from another bios, maybe the Narra 3 board. The Narra 2 and Narra 3 have the same layout from what I can tell. They have the same chipset, north and south bridge, and super io. Narra 2 bios and Narra 3 bios. Does this seem like a good route to follow? Or should I try to work with the Nettle 2 bios and try to pull from there?

Any help or ideas would be very welcome. Thanks
hello i bought an deneb quad core 2.5ghz closest retail chip I can find in the phenom II 905E here is an link to the cpuz page after an fresh cmos reset from an different board http://valid.x86.fr/pf49zu

was looking at the foxcon MCP61 and molded abit ( https://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-HP-MCP61PM-HM-Nettle2-5-27-With-Unlocked-Overclocking-Options ) as it has the same chip set MCP61 and these are know for unlocking all boards but flashing using this command awdflash M613Z_19.BIN /py /sn /f /cc /cd /cp /wb /r gives the error unknown flash type.

-whats happens: does not post no output to monitor no beep error codes ( does the same thing with an x4 965 BE but that is an 125w part but that is expected to not work )

-screenshot from aida64>motherboard>cpuid
N/A as it wont post cpuz form different mother board is above.
