-Motherboard Manufacturer and Model : Lenovo y510p
-Bios Revision : 74cn47ww(v3.08)
-Bios Type : insyde bios/ACPI 2.0

I just found this awesome forum and hope someone will help me removing my lp WIFI restriction as I cant stand this slow WIFI card I have on my Y510p Ideapad.

So, can someone help me whitelisting my lp version?

Following is the requirement that is necessary while removing whitelist.

Fully charged Lenovo Y410P/Y510P (only for these 2 models). I’ve used this Bios hack successfully on Y410P only as i don’t own Y510P.

2) Make sure laptop is connected to power source.

3) Download following file which contains all the zip files you will need to flash the hacked bios and unzip it:

Hello, I'm new here and completely new to bios modding so I am asking you gus for help.

I have an adapter for my notebook which allows me to connect dekstop gpus but it works only with AMD cards.
Looks like there is some kind of whitelist set in bios. Bios in this model is  originally Insyde.
Can someone take a look if it is possible to turn the whitelist off?
