Hi all,

Just wanted to let you know the Lenovo Y410p/Y510p whitelist removal procedure you posted here from the TechInferno site works perfectly.

The instructions could be a little clearer, like if your laptop denies you access to downgrade the BIOS, you need to go into the BIOS and enable the downgrade functionality.

The other confusing part is the creation of the mod bin file created from the laptop current BIOS v3.05. You have to make sure the v305mod.bin file is in the root of the USB drive BEFORE trying to burn it to the BIOS. Be sure to save your original unmodified backup in case something goes wrong, which in my case, went perfectly.
