That worked for me. Intel centrino advanced n 6205 wireless working perfectly. 60mbs down and 11mbs up. The original wireless n-1000 down was 16mbs max. Thanks man. For some reason had to remove wireless adapter again and re-insert before it would work. My only other problem was the 5million pop-ups after the RUFUS download. Now to go back to my BSD partition and get my preferred OS working. I will definitely donate.

finally flashed the BIOS (said something about PDR / GBE region does not exist) but computer is running fine and new wifi card on order!
