Hi All, I've also got a Lenovo Z570 and am wanting to install an intel 7260 to enable me to use my 5GHz network.
I'm currently running Windows 7 on BIOS version - 45CN47WW.
Any help would be much appreciated!

I'm struggling flashing my Bios (45CN38WW) to no white list with the one from Camiloml.
It starts but will end-up in blue screen and PC restarts unchanged.
When doing it manually I get message that new and old version is identically and update stops.
Can you help to get Wifi 7260 running.

/sa key allows to skip all checks, including BIOS version check.
Use "WinFlash.exe /sa /bios /file BIOS.fd" in the folder with Camiloml's mod.

Yes I tried this, but then I end up in the first variant: blue screen and restart of PC unchanged.

okay tried Win7 but does not work either.
Tried also DOS, but will not accept the Bios from Camiloml.
Do you have another solution?

thanks for your help, but this Laptop will not accept any BIOS update. I also do not get it crashed..... :-)
I used the option in Shell folder, final feedback after restart is: "PFlash: Read file error - BIOS.WHP"

A posting about this error.
Open the STARTUP file on your flash drive with a text editor, replace fs0: with fs
1: and save the file. Then try to boot from the flash drive again.
