I have a problem in which my screen clears for a few seconds, when this happens the sound of windows from when you disconnect a flash drive. Hi ,
i am trying to unlock my ACER E5-571G's Advanced Bios Menu. i stumbled upon this solution gave by Vinman in the discussion, which made sense and was tested by many people.
The problem is that i did all the steps mentionned to the letter. I got to change the value of 0X21bwith sudo ghex, and i saved.
But when i restart the computer, the value of 0x21b gets restored to its original state (ie : 00) . i dont know how to make the changes permanent.
