No joy I'm afraid. Flashed your BIOS without problems, swapped the CPU's, reassembled and switched on but no boot. The fans start but no video. I tried wiping the CMOS with the reset button but no change. I was afraid I'd broken something during the switch (these shuttles are tricky to work on) but when I put the old cpu back in it POST'ed ok. Windows 7 blue screened though but I think it didn't like waking up with a new BIOS. I flashed the old BIOS back with a USB floppy and windows started no problems.
I need the system to be running 24/7 for the next 2-3 weeks but I'll try the CPU upgrade again after that.

Hey,
I found this incredible site as I was looking for more information about SD37P2 v1 and Wolfdale processor compatibility.
You are doing an amazing work helping people here and will easily donate 20$ if you could help me (and Geo66) by adding Wolfdale compatibility with SD37P2 v1.
Here latest bios : http://download.shuttle.eu/Downloads/Bar...37s037.bin
Please tell me if it is possible
Cheers !

Hello,
Here latest bios from SD39P2 (same chipset I975X), I hope it will help you.

Info about SD39P2 : http://techreport.com/articles.x/12248
Infos about SD37P2 v1 : http://www.sudhian.com/index.php?/articl...erformance
PS : I was thinking about upgrading from E6600 to Q9400 or E8400, also eventhough DDR2 800MHz isn't officially supported, it is working very well with my current E6600, I don't know if it would be possible to go up to 1066MHz though.
Thanks again!

Please excuse my English is not so good.
I bought a new processor the Intel Core 2 Duo E 7600 for the LGA 775 with a FSB of 1066 MHz.
Have installed the processor, and noticed that the computer will not start.
Have also noticed that the processor was manufactured in 45 nm.
Supported but are only 65 nm and 90 nm
Info. Http://www.shuttle.eu/index.php?id=350&L=1
I think that s0lid has had a similar problem with his system.
bios-mods
I once provided by 1234s282 Bios installed. but nothing had brought.
I think this is not the processor when it was updated.
Also, use is still the BIOS.
Here are some inforamtion on the embedded CPU:
http://ark.intel.com/Product.aspx?id=41495&processor=E7600&spec-codes=SLGTD
Currently, an Intel Core 2 6420 is installed with 2.13 GHz.
I am ready for a settlement to pay $ 30.
Thanks in advance.
best regards
