P.S.: I saw that logan54 had the same BIOS whitelist request before but I did not find the modded BIOS - if I could use that at all for my machine...
In answer to my own post and because I do no plan changing the WiFi card again the near future, I simply:
- Backup'ed my BIOS
- Whitelisted the new card (VEN/DEV/SUBSYS as well as the integrated Bluetooth VEN/DEV) by replacing old values from allowed cards with the new values
- Re-flashed the modified BIOS
If you are fast you can do this in a few minutes

Now I have only LINUX Mint.
My WiFi/Bluetooth adapter is in error...
How can I make a backup and restore to remove the whitelist and change the adapter? Any way in Mint? And how can remove the whitelist please?

I get error 1802 when trying a new wifi card in my Thinkpad E535.
Cpu: AMD A8-4500M
Gpu: AMD Radeon HD 7640G
Mainboard model: 3260ETG
Bios: HHET92WW (2.52) (
