Hi friend, your laptop has an AMD CPU ?
We have a problem as Intel FPT Tool cannot run on your laptop.
We have to try by Phlash16.exe to rewrite your Bios to know if Eeprom is
Write Protect or not !
I will upload this Tool and procedure to make a Bios Backup by It and how to rewrite
It back !

Dear BIOS-Mod Community,

I would like to request a whitelist removal for my e535. I have already backed up the BIOS with the Universal BIOS Backup Toolkit V2.0 and uploaded the ROM here:
http://www.mediafire.com/download/4jy3cd....51%29.rom

Why? I have looked at the FRU list for my notebook and bought a WiFi adapter, but even though model name, model number and manufacturer match exactly, the WiFi adapter does not have an FRU printed on it and is not recognized as being on the whitelist. Retardedly, getting another WiFi adapter of this model with a supplier-guaranteed FRU is many times more costly than without.

Thank you in advance, I greatly appreciate the time and work you invest in this community. I will provide feedback afterwards of course.

Thank you very much.
I managed to put to together a bootable USB with FreeDOS on it. Testing with QEMU (virtual machine) shows that it boots and that all files are there, but as soon as I want to physically boot my laptop with it, i get a blank screen. As a matter of fact, after some testing it seems my laptop always shows a blank screen when legacy boot is required even though 'legacy boot' and all related options are enabled in the BIOS. Resetting BIOS and changing settings doesn't seem to help.

Any idea what is happening?

I am assuming it's just a graphical error when using legacy boot. Could you walk me through the user interaction required after i type in 'flash.bat'+ENTER as you would a blind person? ^^'

edit: Or perhaps there is a way to flash BIOS from inside Windows 8.1?
I have found a remedy for my problem.

I switched the A10-5750M APU I had upgraded to for the old A8-4500M temporarily, this allowed me to get a video output. Then i installed the BIOS mod and the new wireless adapter. There is no 'device not recognized' error and the card works, though I seem to be unable to connect to my home network on 2.4GHz, 5GHz works however. Figuring this last part out may take some more time..

Regardless, your mod worked and I am thankful for that. Have donation and a beer on me Smile
