Have you had any success? Because my situation is identical to yours % except now I have issue with consistency check and no problem like you have got about no image in memory...

The attachment bios has been modified by Phoenixtool 2.73, with update vbios and ahci rom. Now I need to add 45nm Xeon 3xxx support. In the same time, it need to keep original 45nm Core 2 support (1067A plat b1) and update its microcode to A0E version.
I don't know how to manual hex edit the bios to add microcode. If somebody like to help me or tell me how to do, it is very appreciated.

Hi, I am new to this forum. will this edited bios let me use a q6600 in my optiplex 760 usff? sevice tag is : 162MB4J. Also, did the other use have any luck getting his machine running with that quad core?
