I am getting an error 28: Protected Range Registers are currently set by BIOS.

Any way to get around this?
Are You flashing from DOS Pure (prepare an USB Stick DOS Bootable
using RUFUS Tool) ?

I followed the instructions and ran it from DOS, but I got the result I talked about above. I had to switch the BIOS from UEFI mode to legacy mode before I could boot from my USB drive, which removed secure boot options. Maybe that has something to do with it?

LENOVO G710 Laptop dead after interrupted BIOS update attempt. I need a bios dump of the 4mb bios.
All above links are dead. Can anyone kindly provide one for me?

i have a Lenovo G710 and would like to change the wifi card in order to receive 5GHz wifi.
I really would appreciate if anyone of you could help me by creating a modded BIOS with removed whitelist.

Informations:
  • Lenovo G710 Notebook, Intel Core i5-4210M 2,60 GHz
  • BIOS: Lenovo 8ECN95WW (Download)
  • BIOS Backup made with Universal BIOS Backup Toolkit 2.0 (Download)
  • Stock wifi card: Qualcomm Atheros AR956x Wireless Network Adapter
  • Wifi card i would like to use: Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260

The links don't work because a bios file has to be made from your exact bios file. This is because of the unique windows licence stored in it. I'm BDMaster will help once he has finished all the other requests he's got.

Do you still have the last Bios dump that BDMaster gave you?
I need it to rewrite it to my bios chip via a programmer. My bios is corrupted and system wont boot.
