bought an intel 7260 AC wifi adapter but stupid lenovo wont authorize it.

 I would also want to mood my bios so I can use another wirreless card!
My laptop is lenovo g710 with I5 4200m cpu. BIOS Version 8ECN95WW
Do I   need to upgrade my bios here or it is enough to be the same version of bios as user bizondino?

I want to replace the Broadcom 802.11 with an Intel Wireless-AC 7260 card.

Hello everyone. So I have a Lenovo G710, and the need to remove WiFi from white list EGPU project. DIY egpu softwer doesn"t help code43 in win :-(

Lenovo G710 whitelist removal and unlocked menus if possible .

Current Bios: 8ECN92WW - attached backup made with programmer.

Wifi Model installed: most likely, Broadcom BCM43142 or RTL8723BE, Intel 135 BGN (I had a motherboard swap, don't know what was there before that)
I would like to upgrade to Intel Wireless-N 7260 (7260HMW BN)
