Many motherboards with P4M890 can boot CPUs with FSB=1333 Mhz, but on FSB=1066 Mhz.
And another problem. This motherboard does not see 4GB of RAM(modules are the same,chips on 2 sides) . With them ,it turns on, but sees a maximum of 2.5 GB with a frequency of 533 mhz . Although the official website of Elitegroup clearly States the maximum 4GB , the Via website specifies 4GB in the specification of this chipset . I tried to reduce the video buffer of the built-in graphics accelerator to a minimum of 8 Mb,because there is a discrete video card (unfortunately, it is not possible to completely turn off the built-in video in the BIOS) . I tried different memory (Samsung SEC, G-Skill, hynix chips)
Open Device Manager, click View at the top of the Device Manager window, click Resources by type, and then select Memory. This should give you an output similar to the picture shown below

Resize such window to show all information. Make and post a screenshot of it.
DeathBringer could you help. There is the same motherboard ecs p4m890t-m rev.1.0 error updating BIOS file rom ID incorrect. Both from under DOS and from Windows.
